Biography:
Dr. Yin-Yi Han is a leading expert in trauma and critical care. She serves as a Visiting Staff member in the Department of Traumatology and as the Director of the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH). Additionally, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University.
Dr. Han earned her M.D. from Kaohsiung Medical College in 1994 and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in January 2017. This unique combination of medical and engineering expertise enhances her clinical practice.
She has been the Director of the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at NTUH since April 2011 and has served as a Visiting Staff member there since August 2004. Previously, she directed the Surgical Critical Care Division at Tao-Yuan General Hospital and the Anesthesia Department at I-Lan General Hospital, following rigorous residency training in anesthesia and surgery at NTUH.
Dr. Han actively participates in professional associations, serving as the Executive Supervisor of the Taiwan Society of Emergency & Critical Care Medicine and as the Director of the Taiwan Society of Parenteral Enteral Nutrition. Her leadership underscores her commitment to advancing critical care in Taiwan.
