Abstract:
Critical Care at the Crossroads: Visions and Dreams for the future
Critical Care is at a Crossroads! As we emerge from COVID19, we are challenged by and continue to respond to challenge paradigms of critical care delivery without walls. Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Telemedicine, Social Media, Privacy, and Cybersecurity dominate our daily lives. We vision and dream of strategies to cope with and improve the care of our patients and families, and support our providers. Trends in workforce and environment move us toward evolved learning healthcare systems, and growth of wellness and resilience. During this session, we will review the past, present and future directions of critical care without walls!
