Abstract:
Medical management of bleeding and coagulopathy in critically ill trauma patients: update from the sixth edition of European guideline and new evidence
Evidence-based medicine is a cornerstone of daily practice and is widely acknowledged by clinical physicians, including intensivists. This year, the latest edition of the European guideline on the management of major bleeding and coagulopathy following trauma was released. Apart from the references cited in this guideline, there have been recent pivotal studies on the topic. In this presentation, I will share the most recent findings related to major bleeding and coagulopathy post-trauma.
