Abstract:
In today's healthcare landscape, the rise of smart healthcare is rapidly transforming how we approach patient care. This transformation not only requires us to embrace new technologies but also necessitates a reevaluation of the essence and value of critical care nursing. Taiwan's critical care nurses have been pivotal participants in this transformative process, and in this presentation, we will delve into several key themes:
1.The Emergence of Smart Healthcare: We will review the current applications of smart healthcare technologies in Taiwan and how they are changing the way we care for critically ill patients. From electronic health records to monitoring devices, how are these technologies enhancing patient safety and care efficiency?
2.The Crucial Role of Critical Care Nurses: We will emphasize the indispensable role of critical care nurses in the era of smart healthcare. They serve as the bridge between patients and technology, interpreting data, making critical decisions, and providing comprehensive care. We will also share some successful case studies to highlight how nurses are playing pivotal roles in smart healthcare.
3.Professional Development and Training: Smart healthcare presents new challenges, and thus, we need to ensure that our nursing teams possess the latest knowledge and skills. We will discuss how Taiwan is committed to the ongoing development of the nursing profession to ensure our nurses are equipped to meet future challenges.
